I have a high opinion of kirkwood hospice. It was a very nice place to work and be in. All the other staff members I spoke to were very friendly and spoke about how much they loved working there and the working environment.
I was a catering assistant volunteer which primarily involved pot washing. I also set out cutlery, napkins, trays, and salt and pepper down in the patient ward and brought clean and dirty dishes to and from the kitchen where I would wash them.
The patients and their families spoke highly of the hospice and were very grateful for the care and support.
The hospice was a very nice environment to be in because the staff were very happy to be there and genuinely loved doing their jobs. This made the environment very friendly and supportive.
